Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking a Gastroenterologist for clinical duties involving up to 3 weekly clinic sessions and 6 outpatient endoscopy sessions per week at the Galveston and League City campuses. Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Additional responsibilities include covering consult services and providing night call. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship programs is needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct up to 3 weekly clinic sessions.
• Perform up to 6 outpatient endoscopy sessions per week.
• Cover Gastroenterology & Hepatology consult service at various campuses.

Education

MD degree or equivalent
