Job summary

UNC Caldwell seeks a personable GI APP (PA/NP) to join Caldwell Memorial Hospital's Digestive Health Center. The role is outpatient across multiple clinic locations, with a 0 call requirement and no prior GI experience necessary aside from extensive other specialty experience.

The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE with four 8-hour patient-facing days, offering hospital-employed benefits, CME allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (APRN/PA).
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
• No prior experience required.

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 + visits a year. UNC Health Medical Group & UNC Caldwell Physicians provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. We are seeking a personable and engaging GI PA or NP to join our team!

Position Information

• Outpatient only between multiple clinic locations
• GI experience preferred or extensive experience in another specialty required
• Full-time at .9 FTE with four 8-hour patient-facing days

Education Requirements:

• * Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• * Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• * Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
