Job summary

Caldwell Digestive Health Center, a division of Caldwell Memorial Hospital, seeks a personable GI PA or NP for outpatient care across multiple clinic locations in western North Carolina. Position is full-time at 0.9 FTE with four 8-hour patient-facing days and no on-call requirements.

Expected to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage referrals, and document care to ensure accurate billing and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level APRN or PA program completion.
• NC licensure as APRN/PA; DEA registration.
• Board certification if required by the Department.

GI APP Opportunity in Western, NC

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 + visits a year. UNC Health Medical Group & UNC Caldwell Physicians provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. We are seeking a personable and engaging GI PA or NP to join our team!

Position Information:

• Outpatient only between multiple clinic locations
• GI experience preferred or extensive experience in another specialty required
• Full-time at .9 FTE with four 8-hour patient-facing days
• Strong network for referrals
• No call requirement

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
