Job summary

UNC Caldwell is seeking a Primary Care NP or PA for a traditional outpatient model at Rivercrest Medical Park in Granite Falls, NC. Join a collaborative, experienced team delivering well visits, sick visits, and a full spectrum of primary care across all ages.

Position emphasizes 32 hours of patient care weekly with 4 hours of administration, onsite day schedule, and full-time opportunities. New grads are encouraged to apply; NC licensure and APRN/PA board certification are required.

Primary Care APP opportunity at RiverCrest Medical Park in beautiful western, NC

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. Caldwell Physicians and UNC Health Medical Group provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations and 137 bed hospital. Caldwell is seeking a Primary Care NP or PA for a position in a traditional outpatient model with a team of experienced partners.

• Location in the Blue Ridge Mountains - the heart of Northwestern North Carolina with a temperate 4 climate seasons
• Location- UNC Caldwell, Granite Falls, North Carolina 28630

Practice Highlights

• Patient Contact hours: 36 hours weekly / 32 hours of patient care and 4 hours of Administration - Primary Care Practice (children to adults). Well visits, Sick visits and all things primary care.

• Completed NP or PA School

Other Information

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

• No prior experience required.

• Demonstrated clinical competency.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
