Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Digestive Care team in Minnesota. The role involves assessing patients, managing ongoing GI and liver conditions, and coordinating with GI physicians and inpatient services.

Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families, and health professionals is essential. Eligible candidates hold an NP or PA credential, MN licensure, BLS and DEA, with the ability to work in a fast-paced GI clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant OR licensed as an APRN in MN with RN license
• Current APP certification as PA or APRN specialty
• For PA, Minnesota Board of Medical Practice prescription privileges
• Current BLS and DEA certification

Responsibilities

• Obtain history and exam patient
• Order labs and follow-up care
• Discuss and educate patient and family about treatment
• Communicate with patients between visits and adjust plan as needed
• Collaborate with other health professionals
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion
• Coordinate inpatient and GI team activities
