Vanderbilt Health seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join the VIP Adult - Clarksville unit. The APC will manage a distinct patient population, provide inpatient and outpatient care, support discharges, and follow evidence-based clinical pathways to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and perform comprehensive histories and physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic data and coordinate care.
• Serve as first responder for patient status changes and interventions.
• Coordinate daily clinic schedules with attending physician team.
• Develop and implement plans of care based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
