The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is actively recruiting a Board-Certified Staff Gastroenterologist to care for our Veterans. The selected physician may have a faculty appointment at Loma Linda University and will be involved in education and teaching of fellows, medical students, residents, and other providers in a state-of-the-art VA facility.

The Gastroenterologist will perform patient histories, physical examinations, endoscopy, and patients' management in inpatient and outpatient

Responsibilities

• Complete patient history and physical examinations, diagnosis, and therapeutic management.
• Provide care in emergencies and manage patient care.
• Perform endoscopy procedures.
• Inpatient consultations and coordination of care.
• Teaching fellows, residents, and medical students in a hospital setting.
• Research responsibilities not required but would be of value.
