Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Board-certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a full-time, hospital-employed role. The position offers a balanced schedule with hospital rounding, endoscopy, and clinic time, along with strong support and a highly competitive compensation package.

Base salary ranges from $700,000 to $850,000+ with RVU-based bonuses, sign-on and relocation assistance, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits including PTO and 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Focus on general GI with optional advanced procedures
• Schedule includes ~8 hrs hospital rounding, 12 hrs endoscopy block, 12 hrs clinic
• Clinic volume of ~20 patients per session
• Perform 6–7 procedures per day

Responsibilities

Position Highlights:

• Focus: Primarily general GI (bread-and-butter); advanced procedures optional and supported
• Schedule: ~8 hrs hospital rounding, 12 hrs endoscopy block, 12 hrs clinic
• Clinic Volume: ~20 patients per session
• Procedures: 6-7 per day
• Base Salary: $700,000 - $850,000+ (three-year guarantee)

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $700,000.00 to $850,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
