Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a physician-led practice at Mercy Medical Center Merced. You will provide outpatient and inpatient care across the GI spectrum, including endoscopy, with a focus on expanding regional access and building a premier service line.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with shared telephone-only call and no inpatient call requirements, in a mission-driven environment that emphasizes compassionate care and work-life

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consults, endoscopies, and routine GI screenings.
• Lead the development and growth of the local gastroenterology service line to expand regional access.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to optimize referral pathways.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic services and hospital resources at Mercy Medical Center Merced.
