Foundation Physician Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician to join a growing physician-led practice in Merced, California. You will provide expert patient care, shape a robust gastroenterology service line, and have a predictable schedule with minimal call requirements.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active or eligible medical license in California.
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultative services.
• Lead clinical design and growth of the Gastroenterology service line.
• Collaborate with local primary care and specialty providers.

Skills

Strong clinical and endoscopic skills

Comprehensive knowledge of gastroenterology care principles

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Completion of accredited post-graduate Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
