Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens work in Missouri. Inpatient coverage is 7 am–7 pm with a 14 on/14 off call schedule, plus clinic hours 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday.

Expect ~15–16 clinic patients and ~12 hospital patients daily, focusing on inpatient GI care and outpatient clinic work. Procedures include upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy, with esophageal dilatation and manometry as needed.

Qualifications

• Inpatient gastroenterology experience required.
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures including EGD/ERCP/colonoscopy.
• Ability to perform liver biopsy and GI-related interventions.

Responsibilities

• Work inpatient 7 am–7 pm, 14 on/14 off with call.
• Clinic duties 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS, colonoscopy and liver biopsy.
