Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established Northwest Indiana healthcare provider in Hobart. This full-time role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:7 call rotation and relocation assistance.

You will diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive diseases, perform endoscopic procedures, and coordinate care with surgical and primary care teams in a tech-forward facility recognized among HIMSS Stage VII institutions.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30; Hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice with longitudinal care for chronic conditions.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated treatment plans.
