Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia is seeking a Gastroenterologist to build a busy, high-demand GI practice within a large medical center. You will have an established patient panel, strong referral network, and robust clinical, administrative, and operational support to focus on patient care.

J1 visa support is available. The role includes office and Ambulatory Surgery Center responsibilities with endoscopy and advanced GI care in a comprehensive network.

Responsibilities

• Split time between office and Ambulatory Surgery Center (Endoscopy Suite)
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, colorectal conditions
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Polypectomy, Biopsy
• Interpret results of endoscopic, laboratory, and imaging studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with GI and liver conditions
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and collaborative support for an APP
