Job summary

UC Irvine Health seeks a gastroenterologist with an interest in General GI. Expertise in IBS, GERD, and colon cancer screening is desired, and the candidate should perform EGD and colonoscopy with polypectomy. ERCP/EUS not required.

Responsibilities

• Quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while complying with UC policies. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
• Leadership to motivate, inspire, and communicate with faculty, residents, staff and peers to maintain a professional, team-based care approach.
• Provide Emergency Department and inpatient coverage and expand outpatient clinical care at UCI Health sites (e.g., Yorba Linda).
