Talent With Heart in Hobart, IN is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established Northwest Indiana practice offering a flexible, full-time schedule and a 1:7 on-call rotation. The role focuses on comprehensive GI care, including endoscopic procedures, with a commitment to physician well-being and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with plan for certification within a timeframe.
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration required or eligible.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30; hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• 1:7 call rotation.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease.
• Work with surgical and primary care teams for integrated treatment plans.
