Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established practice in Hobart, Indiana. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule within a premier, tech-forward environment with a 1:7 call rotation.

You will diagnose and treat GI and hepatobiliary disorders, perform endoscopic procedures, and coordinate care with surgical and primary care teams. Indiana license and CSR/DEA required; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30.
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• Call Rotation: 1:7.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions like IBD and liver disease.
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated care.
