Job summary

Indiana University Health is recruiting Gastroenterologists to join our gastroenterology team in Muncie, Indiana. The majority of practice will be at Ball Memorial Hospital with a small outreach component at Jay County Hospital.

Expect a collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and work-life balance. Clinical duties include performing 40-60 procedures per week (upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, ERCP/EUS not required, RFA and esophageal motility

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification is required.
• Medical degree or foreign equivalent must be obtained.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency is required.
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology is required.
• Eligibility for or possession of Indiana medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents, give lectures, and participate in adjunct faculty appointments.
• Engage in limited drug trials as part of academic activities.
• Maintain clinical productivity with procedures and patient care in GI.
