Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology, handling a broad range of GI patients across northeastern New York. You will participate in an expanding team delivering high-quality GI care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of GI conditions
• Active and unrestricted NY medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong dedication to patient-centered care across diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures in an endoscopy suite with anesthesia support
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric GI and GI pathologists
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows
• Conduct research and scholarly work
