The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a Gastroenterologist for the South Baltimore Medical Center to provide outpatient consults and endoscopy with a balanced schedule and physician-led governance. Competitive compensation with a $100,000 forgivable new hire loan incentive is offered.

Our group supports state-of-the-art care, a physician-friendly EMR, and opportunities for leadership. Licensure in DC/MD/VA and board certification valgibly required.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Gastroenterology at our South Baltimore Medical Center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect:

• Provide outpatient consultative & endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work life balance
• Provide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visits
• Access to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment
• Conduct 30-minute appointments
• Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers
• Work with an experienced support staff
• Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired
• A physician friendly EMR (electronic medical record) system
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
• Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)
• Lead with integrity
• Value teamwork
• Are transparent and honest
• Go "above and beyond" for their patients

The starting annual salary for this position is $575,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
