Intermountain Health’s St. James Healthcare in Butte, MT is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a busy outpatient practice with inpatient call coverage and a skilled endoscopy suite.
You will provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, collaborate with primary care and specialty teams, and participate in an established program with a supportive staff of RNs and endoscopy professionals. A Montana medical license and board certification in GI are required.
As a Gastroenterologist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You'll practice Gastroenterology alongside Primary Care practice in our busy outpatient practice. You will practice at our Specialty Care Clinic in Butte, MT. You will work in a well-established practice that has supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff. You would provide gastroenterology care to a wide range of patients. You will be able to practice both outpatient as well as inpatient / hospital call services. You would work with a skilled endoscopy team in our operating room’s endoscopy suite.
$765,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive. Incentives: $50,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable), up to $40,000 in an annual quality incentive and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable). We’re also PSLF eligible!

St. James Healthcare is a 98-bed Level III Trauma Center has provided care in Southwest Montana and the surrounding area since 1881, and our clinical network ensures community needs are met. We have Life Flight services available 24-7-365 to receive & transport patients as needed. We offer comprehensive, specialty care, including a da Vinci Robotics surgery.
