Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join the Digestive Health Institute and help expand a high-growth program. The role offers a mix of outpatient clinics and procedural time with strong APP support and access to endoscopy resources.

You will work within a team-focused, autonomous practice designed to deliver efficient patient access, leadership opportunities, and meaningful impact on digestive care for a broad referral network.

Qualifications

• Completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship from an accredited program.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care; strong procedural focus with endoscopy.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic management with endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with and supervise APP team members.
• Participate in program growth initiatives and quality improvement.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs.
