Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is recruiting a gastroenterologist to join the Digestive Health Institute. You will contribute to a comprehensive GI model with strong procedural access, a large referral network, and ample opportunity to impact patient care from day one.

The role offers a choice of General GI and advanced endoscopy, outpatient clinic duties, APP collaboration, and optional inpatient coverage. You will work in a flexible, team-based environment focused on efficient access and growth

Qualifications

• MD/DO completed with accredited fellowship in gastroenterology.
• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology.
• Advanced endoscopy training welcomed and encouraged.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic with endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate and supervise APP team members.
• Participate in program growth initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on needs.
