Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our growing Digestive Health Institute and help expand advanced GI services. The role offers a mix of clinic and endoscopy time with strong procedural volume from day one, backed by a large referral network and APP support.

We welcome candidates with a fellowship in Gastroenterology, Board Certified or Board Eligible, and an interest in collaborative, team-based care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic and endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with APP team members and supervise as needed.
• Participate in program growth initiatives and multidisciplinary care.
• Optional inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs
