Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH, invites a Gastroenterologist to join a growing Digestive Health Institute. The role supports a mix of general GI and advanced endoscopy, with strong procedural volume and APP support.

You will contribute to a multi-site, patient‑centered practice and have access to dedicated endoscopy resources, ambulatory surgery center access, and telehealth integration. Board-certified or -eligible physicians with an accredited GI fellowship are sought; advanced endoscopy training

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology required.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Interest in collaborative, team‑based care; advanced endoscopy training welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic responsibilities.
• Perform endoscopic procedures within a high-volume practice.
• Collaborate with APPs; supervise as needed.
• Participate in program growth initiatives.
• Optional inpatient coverage based on service needs.
