Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a growing Digestive Health Institute. The role supports both general GI and advanced therapeutic endoscopy, with resources and a high patient volume to help you build your practice.

You will join a team focused on excellence, innovation, and growth, with strong APP support, a large referral network, and access to ambulatory surgery and telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Interest in collaborative, team-based care.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures in outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with and supervise APP team members.
• Participate in program growth initiatives for the Digestive Health Institute.
• Provide optional advanced inpatient coverage based on service needs.
