Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Hobart, IN seeks a Gastroenterologist for a full-time role with a flexible schedule and a 1:7 call rotation. The position offers the opportunity to design your practice within a tech-forward, HIMSS Stage VII facility and provides relocation assistance.

You will diagnose and treat GI and hepatobiliary disorders, perform endoscopic procedures, and coordinate care with surgical and primary care teams to support a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30; Hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions like IBD and liver disease.
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated treatment plans.
• Attend 1:7 call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Work alongside surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
