Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a full-time position in Hobart, IN, with a flexible schedule and 1:7 call. Relocation assistance is available in a tech-forward, HIMSS Stage VII facility.

Responsibilities include diagnosing GI and hepatobiliary disorders, performing endoscopic procedures, and coordinating longitudinal care with surgical and primary care teams. Board certification path and Indiana medical license are required, with strong EMR/AI documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Manage clinic and hospital patient load (clinic 20-30; hospital 10-15)
• Participate in 1:7 call rotation
• Perform endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated care

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Work alongside surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
