Jobtailor is seeking a technician for its Advanced Gas Operations division to locate and mark underground gas lines and other utilities. The role involves outdoor work, careful use of locating equipment, and adherence to safety and damage prevention guidelines.

The position is daytime, full-time, with potential overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call duties related to project needs. Travel locally may be required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Pass a drug screen; this is a safety-sensitive position.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some overnight travel may occur.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine gas line locations and mark areas with paint and flags.
• Some hand digging to unearth gas lines when required.
• Follow damage prevention guidelines and safety procedures.
• Locate other utilities in addition to gas lines as projects require.
