Job summary

The Berkshire Gas Company in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Utility III to support underground gas facility work, mark outs, and gas leak investigations, including on-call emergency response. You will assist with excavation and operate company equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Residency within the Adams distribution area.

Responsibilities

• Provide manual labor, lifting, shoveling and jack hammering to support excavation work.
• Operates dump trucks, back hoes and attachments and other motorized equipment.
• Supports distribution work crews as a team member.
• Provides dig safe mark out of gas facilities.
• Performs gas leak investigation and survey compliance work.
