PDS Tech, Inc. is hiring a Residential Field Service Technician to support a long-term natural gas utility project in Tyler, TX. No prior gas utility experience is required—paid training with certifications is provided, enabling you to begin field assignments after completing training in Houston.

You'll install meters and regulators, test for gas leaks, and document installation data while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards. Pay is $22.00/hour on 1st shift (5x8s).

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Background check, MVR, and DOT PHMSA drug screen required.
• Ability to work outdoors up to 10 hours per day in varying conditions.
• Comfort with handheld tools and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Remove and install residential gas meters and regulators.
• Perform gas leak testing using company equipment.
• Identify and repair gas leaks and abnormal operating conditions.
• Safely shut down and relight gas appliances.
• Collect and document installation data using a handheld device.
• Communicate professionally with utility customers.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Conocimientos
