Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Gas Turbine Standardization Engineer II in Lake Mary, FL to lead standard Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle configurations.

You will guide design processes, maintain design bases, and ensure alignment across engineering, proposals, and supply chain teams. The role demands strong analytical skills, program management software experience (SPOT, P6), and the ability to work with minimal supervision while driving standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering.
• 3–15 years of Mitsubishi Power project experience.
• Understanding of Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle power plant designs.
• Experience with turbine systems, design or commissioning preferred.
• Strong Excel/Office skills; learn SPOT and P6.
• Strong communication and self-starter leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own standard Simple Cycle and Combined Cycle configurations, including multi-shaft and single-shaft designs.
• Maintain the JAC Standard Design Basis in alignment with current codes and standards.
• Create, maintain, document, validate, and manage standard products, configurations, drawings, and operating conditions.
• Lead change management for standard products and configurations across teams.
• Support New Product Development, cost reduction, and continuous design enhancement.
• Coordinate with Proposals for project handover and guidance on standard products.
• Partner with Supply Chain Management to maintain supplier information and drawings.
• Align Standardization with Estimations Division for standard plant designs.
