Job summary

Onward Energy seeks an Operations & Maintenance Technician I/II to monitor and maintain power plant equipment in Valencia County, NM. This role involves reading gauges, recording operating logs, and performing maintenance tasks to improve safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Journey-level to senior-level with 5–10+ years related experience and plant operator background.
• Experience with CEMS maintenance and DAHS data handling is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Start, stop and monitor equipment; read gauges, record logs and adjust within parameters.
• Perform routine and overhaul maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Assist in developing operational procedures and training modules.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations; support plant safety.
