Job summary

Trident Consulting Inc. seeks a Gas Turbine Mechanic for a 12-month contract in Houston, TX. The role requires hands-on aero equipment repair, inspection and debugging, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a $25/hour W2 pay package.

Candidate must have 2+ years of aero equipment experience and be able to interpret complex drawings, follow strict safety procedures, and work well in a team to meet tight deadlines. This contract offers on-site work and immediate start.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in aero equipment troubleshooting, testing, assembly and inspection.
• Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
• Ability to perform testing with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Attention to detail in inspections, measurements and repairs.
• Safety mindset; follows HS&E procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling; use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read and understand complex machining or assembly drawings.
• Work as part of a team following work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment under time constraints.
• Provide on-site support as needed.

Job Description

Role: Gas Turbine Mechanic

Location: Houston, TX - Contract

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $25/hr on W2(Inclusive all)

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Description

• Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Possessing a deep mechanical aptitude with ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings
• Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment while under time constraints
• Providing On-Site support as needed

Required

• 2+ years experience:
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect aero equipment.
• Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
• Capability to perform testing with minimal supervision/instruction.
• Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
