Job summary

GE Vernova's Gas Power Greenville site is seeking a Manufacturing Intern to kick off a career in manufacturing and supply chain. You will contribute to building, repairing, and delivering advanced gas turbine technology while learning in a safety- and quality-focused environment.

We expect you to be enrolled in a full-time engineering program with majors such as Industrial, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering and to maintain a minimum 3.0

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• Majors accepted include Industrial, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work for GE Vernova.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

• Support processes and procedures driving customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
• Evaluate production areas to identify improvements and implement them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality of production areas.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements in production.
• Maintain knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures for safe operation of production equipment.
