Job summary

GE Vernova’s Greenville Gas Turbine site invites engineers-in-training to join the Manufacturing Internship program this summer. You will work on processes that enhance reliability, quality, and efficiency across production areas, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma concepts, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to safe, compliant operations while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced power-generation environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• Majors accepted include Industrial, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement in manufacturing to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
• Evaluate production areas and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production quality projects.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures for safe equipment use.
