Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking an energetic assembler for Gas Turbine Engines to perform complete assembly and disassembly of engines and sub-assemblies. You will follow drawings, specs and procedures, use hand tools, borescopes, and record data for process control.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, an associate degree or trade training, and a HS diploma or GED. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and obtain forklift/crane licenses through internal programs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in relevant manufacturing/assembly roles.
• Associates degree or specialized trades training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain forklift/crane licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble Gas Turbine Engines and sub-assemblies.
• Follow drawings, specs, and operating procedures accurately.
• Perform cleaning, fitting, preservation, and basic wiring tasks.
• Load/unload parts with material handling devices and assist crane operators.
• Maintain records and ensure drawing tolerances and quality checks.
