Job summary

AltaGas is seeking a Pressure Technician I to support the safe operation of pressure-regulating equipment at our GSO facilities. You will gain hands-on experience maintaining gas system equipment and contribute to reliable service for our customers.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical, hands-on work and wants to grow skills in a structured, team-oriented environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (EST). Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• At least 18 months of hands-on technical experience with tools or maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math, physics, electronics, and gas systems knowledge.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and technical documents.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and maintenance of GSO facilities under supervision.
• Operate and maintain regulator stations, perform troubleshooting.
• Inspect stations periodically for safety and reliability.
• Install components at GSO facilities (tubing, wiring, piping, framework).
• Perform site upkeep: yard, snow removal, painting, grass trimming.
• Interpret company records/drawings; communicate via radio and team.
• Stock and maintain company vehicles; ensure tools/materials ready.
