Job summary

BHE GT&S is seeking an Engineer I/II or Senior Engineer II at our Glen Allen, VA headquarters. The role involves front end planning for capital growth projects on the interstate system, hydraulic modeling, pipeline sizing, and contributor to design conditions.

You will partner with business development to scope opportunities and ensure reliability and capacity across our eight-state footprint. The position emphasizes collaboration across multiple functions, development of engineering standards,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• PE license preferred for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Own front end planning and design for capital growth projects on the interstate system.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and routing of pipelines; design interconnect station conditions.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Gas Control and Operations to scope and price opportunities.
• Maintain cost/contract databases and improve specifications and templates.
• Provide engineering oversight across project phases and support senior engineers.
