Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Measurement and Electrical Technician to support field operations in Texas. You will test, maintain, calibrate meters, regulators, and gas analyzers, and assist in planning work and budgeting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus an associate degree or equivalent experience, and a valid CDL. Strong safety awareness and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training or experience.
• Communicate verbally and in writing to collect and relay basic facts.
• Willing to assist with more complex tasks and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot meters, regulators, valves, RTUs, analyzers.
• Perform routine maintenance and report usage and concentration.
• Operate and maintain power supply systems.
• Identify pipes, valves, and fittings using measurement devices.
• Ensure electrical installations meet codes and standards.
• Install small diameter instrument piping and tubing.
• Use test/inspection equipment to verify and calibrate instruments.
• Write gas handling procedures.
• On occasion, direct other employees in routine measurement tasks.
• Assist in planning work and budget-related information.
