Job summary

Interstate Gas Supply is seeking a Gas Supply Analyst to forecast, schedule, and reconcile natural gas supply to support the company’s gas supply efforts. You will collaborate in a team environment to ensure timely deliveries and accurate forecasting.

You will perform daily scheduling to meet pipeline and LDC requirements, develop short- and long-term forecasts from data histories, and minimize imbalance penalties through precise reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/math/business with operations/finance emphasis.
• Proficient in Excel; forecast, schedule and reconcile gas supply.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduling to meet pipeline and LDC delivery requirements.
• Generate short- and long-term forecasts from data/history.
• Reconcile imbalances and avoid penalties through trades or other actions.
• Maintain bank and inventory levels per tariff parameters.
• Develop familiarity with pipelines and tariffs and nomination systems.
• Monitor pipeline notices and identify operational constraints for rerouting.
