Job summary

PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Co-Op Engineer – Gas Storage Engineering in Fisher, Illinois for January 2027 or May 2027 start. The role is full-time through the summer and into the Spring or Fall semester. The hourly rate for this position is $23.10 with paid company holidays.

You will work with experienced engineers on underground gas storage, LNG processes, field piping, and related equipment to support safe, reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or higher engineering degree with a 2027 or later graduation date.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 and valid driver's license.
• Interest in gas storage, field piping, and LNG/CO2 processes.

Responsibilities

• Support underground gas storage, gas storage wells, and field piping activities.
• Assist with station piping, regulators, meters, heat exchangers and related processes.
• Contribute to LNG liquefaction and vaporization projects, and CO2 removal efforts.
