Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Beavercreek, OH. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and manage back-room backstock and waste while supporting leadership to complete tasks on schedule.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with basic technology, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes safety, customer interactions, and overnight prep to ensure store readiness.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and stay organized.
• Remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
