Job summary

MCK Group seeks an experienced District Manager to oversee 5–6 gas station/convenience store locations across Hartwell and Lavonia, GA, and Seneca, SC. This hands-on role drives sales, profitability, and staff development across multiple sites.

You will coach Store Managers, monitor sales, labor, inventory, and pricing, and implement promotions while ensuring policy compliance. Regular travel to all locations is required.

Qualifications

• Oversee 5–6 gas station/convenience store locations.
• Experience supervising store managers and optimizing multi-unit operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Hartwell, Lavonia (GA) and Seneca (SC).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and performance of 5–6 locations.
• Supervise, coach, and hold Store Managers accountable for performance.
• Visit locations regularly to ensure cleanliness, customer service, merchandising, and standards.
• Monitor sales, labor, inventory, expenses, and overall profitability.
• Help control inventory shortages, cash discrepancies, waste, and shrink.
• Ensure stores are properly staffed and assist with recruiting and training managers and employees.
• Review store schedules and manage labor costs.
• Ensure pricing, promotions, and displays are properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Address operational issues quickly and communicate major concerns to ownership/management.
• Assist with implementing new procedures, promotions, and improvements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable District Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of 5–6 gas station/convenience store locations throughout Hartwell and Lavonia, Georgia, and Seneca, South Carolina. This position is responsible for ensuring each location operates efficiently, maintains high standards, achieves sales and profitability goals, and is properly staffed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and performance of 5–6 gas station/convenience store locations.
• Supervise, coach, and hold Store Managers accountable for store performance.
• Visit locations regularly to ensure cleanliness, customer service, merchandising, and operational standards.
• Monitor sales, labor, inventory, expenses, and overall store profitability.
• Help control inventory shortages, cash discrepancies, waste, and shrink.
• Ensure stores are properly staffed and assist with recruiting and training managers and employees.
• Review store schedules and manage labor costs.
• Ensure fuel pricing, inside merchandise pricing, promotions, and displays are properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, alcohol/tobacco regulations, lottery procedures, and other applicable laws.
• Address operational issues quickly and communicate major concerns to ownership/management.
• Assist with implementing new company procedures, promotions, and operational improvements.

Previous multi-unit management experience strongly preferred.

Gas station, convenience store, retail, or restaurant management experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable reviewing sales, inventory, labor, and financial performance.

Must be organized, dependable, and able to work independently.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Regular travel between Hartwell, Lavonia, and Seneca locations is required.

Must be available to address occasional after-hours or weekend operational issues.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys managing multiple locations, developing strong store managers, improving operations, and driving sales and profitability.
