Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Fairborn, Ohio seeks an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You’ll move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and keep the back room clean and organized.

You will work with leadership to meet deadlines, provide friendly service, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level stocking clerk position with focus on store operations.
• Ability to learn processes and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
