The gas station attendant is responsible for cashiering, upholding a high level of customer service that reflects the culture of the company, and maintaining the store to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers as they enter the location. Such as, entering the store, approaching service counter, or a fuel pump.
• Observe flow of automobiles being filled with gasoline.
• Assists customers with purchase inquiries and decisions, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs or wants. This includes being sure to mention any of the regular deals or daily specials.
• Accepts money in the form of cash and credit or debit cards for items to be purchased.
• Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
• Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
• Bag, box, and/or wrap purchased items.
• Helps to maintain inventory placement throughout the store as needed. This will include stocking or restocking workstations and sales floor.
• Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of our company.
• Promote great teamwork and readiness to assist with team needs throughout shift.
• Verify customers purchasing lottery tickets, alcohol, and tobacco are of legal age.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must keep a clean and polished appearance, wearing the designated uniform and name tag.
• Sweep, mop, dust, remove trash inside and outside, clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Maintain sanitation of dispensers, islands, and other station equipment.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of food items packed or served.
• Transfer supplies between storage areas and convenient store as needed.
• May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
