Job summary

Prestige Car Wash and Gas in Randolph, MA is seeking a Gas Station Attendant to join our family-owned team. You will greet customers, operate the station during your shift, and promote specials while keeping the area safe and clean.

The role offers up to $19 per hour with flexible part-time or full-time schedules and weekend availability. You must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic calculations for shift reports and inventory.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol per regulations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle cases of beverages.
• Remain calm and follow policies in emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Willing to perform housekeeping duties.
• Sit or stand for long periods; flexible with shifts.

What you’ll do?

• You’ll be responsible for the operation of the station during your shift.
• You’ll be making sure to follow all federal, state and company guidelines, policies and procedures during operation. Including but not limited to minimizing safety risks for all employees, customers and suppliers.
• You’ll communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations in a very quick timeline, especially any changes or items that may adversely affect the store's operations.
• You’ll manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store
• Promptly Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses

What you need to bring to the Table?

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be able to perform basic calculations in order to make changes, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-ins.
• You must have the ability to validate Identification prior to selling products such as tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required regulations)
• You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniques
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.
• You must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• You must have the ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)
• You must be willing to perform general housekeeping duties as needed
• You must be willing to sit or stand for prolonged periods during your shift.
