Qualifications

  • Approximately 18 months gas service work experience, with at least 12 months in repair/servicing gas equipment.
  • Valid Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and medical certification; no air brake restrictions.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 58/59, safety practices, and ability to use gas testing tools.
  • Ability to interact courteously with customers and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Proficient with basic computer usage and service reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and repair gas appliances and systems at customer sites.
  • Identify leaks using leak detectors and measurement equipment; verify problem resolution.
  • Operate service trucks; deliver cylinders and manage related paperwork.
  • Respond to gas-related emergencies and perform temporary/ongoing repairs.
  • Provide customer guidance on proper operation of appliances.
