Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Manager, Gas Scheduling & Cash Optimization in Houston, TX. You will lead a team responsible for natural gas scheduling, transportation management, and cash optimization, partnering with traders to maximize portfolio value.

You will drive nominations, balance reporting, and risk controls across markets, ensuring accurate settlement, regulatory compliance, and effective risk mitigation while advancing automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in natural gas trading, scheduling, transportation, marketing, or commercial operations.
• Knowledge of North American natural gas markets, contracts, storage, and pipeline operations.
• Leadership experience and strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Endur and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team responsible for gas scheduling, transportation management, and cash optimization.
• Lead optimization of physical gas positions, transportation capacity, and storage assets.
• Partner with traders to identify opportunities from basis spreads, constraints, and storage economics.
• Oversee nominations, confirmations, imbalance management, inventory tracking, and pipeline scheduling.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and risk mitigation across the function.
