Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) in Denver, CO seeks an Associate Gas Scheduling Analyst or Gas Scheduling Analyst to join our Gas Scheduling team. This foundational role develops expertise to independently manage natural gas scheduling activities, including nominations, storage, asset management, and pipeline transportation.

The position emphasizes operational accuracy, data integrity, and collaboration with internal teams and external counterparties.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical background and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate, including on-call weekends.

Responsibilities

• Nominate natural gas purchases, sales, and storage accurately under contracts and for asset management customers.
• Adhere to strict timelines for original and intraday nominations with required information for transmission companies.
• Learn gas transmission pipeline systems and monitor information systems for changes and rate/fuel details.
• Monitor natural gas imbalances and ensure they stay within acceptable limits.
• Enter nomination activity into TMV’s gas nomination system according to internal accounting methods.
• Communicate any deviations from the scheduled nominations to TMV personnel and customers.
• Verify invoices from transmission companies for accuracy.
