Ameresco, Inc. is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician for the Woodland Meadows High BTU gas process facility in Canton, MI.

The plant runs 24/7 with compressors, blowers, pumps, gas coolers, and gas analyzers; the role requires hands-on operation and safety-focused execution. You will work 8-hour shifts with after-hours/on-call as needed, perform inspections, coordinate maintenance, train operators, and maintain records to ensure safe, compliant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years equipment operations experience with mechanical, electrical, instrument or control systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance on blowers and compressors desirable.
• Knowledge of PLC, electrical power equipment, and gas plant operations desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal, written, computer communication and organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.
• Monitor equipment and adjust parameters to stay within specs.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; schedule and perform maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Prepare reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and compliance metrics.
• Develop and deliver training for operators to ensure proficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of operations and incidents; communicate with management.
